Mei believes in providing quality and caring service to those in search of a natural alternative to health improvement. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Professional Health Studies and a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from Florida College of Integrative Medicine. This is coupled with the fact that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine were a part of her daily life, growing up.

Mei has also studied under several celebrated physicians, including Professor Gao Zhi Xiang who has practiced acupuncture for over sixty years. She has spent time traveling with Professor Gao, and assisting him with patients for more then five years. She received specilized training in prevention of hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipemia, and using “BI GU” to effectively treat weight loss. Mei is still training under the tutelage of Dr. Zhu Gui Zhen, a ninth generation acupuncture master. She also is certified in “Equilibrium” needle procedure – a little known and powerful technique of treatment using a single needle.

Mei believes that superior medicine prevents disease and inferior medicine treats disease. She desires to educate her patients on how to prevent diseases and live a healthy lifestyle.
